Daisy Blower is committed to keeping your information secure and managing it in accordance with my legal responsibilities under privacy and data protection laws. This privacy policy explains how I use any personal information I hold about you and your rights in this regard.
About you
You are a person who has done one or more of the following: - used my website which is currently at www.daisyblower.com - subscribed to my mailing list - contacted me via email, via the contact form on my website or otherwise - interacted with us on social media, either directly or indirectly or bought one of my products. When you conduct a transaction on my website, as part of the process, I collect personal information you give me such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only. My company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with the online platform that allows me to sell my products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. This privacy policy doesn’t cover personal data we may hold about you as a result of you being an employee, trustee, supplier or freelance/sole trader with whom we work or we are discussing working with. I collect and hold information about you so I can personalise your experience of my website and/or communications you receive from me - manage our organisation effectively and continually improve what I do - develop our relationship with you as someone who may want to collaborate with us - to communicate with you about myself, my work, future shows and events we think you might find interesting - to communicate with you about upcoming opportunities. Although I may tell you about work from others, I won’t pass information I hold about you to them – unless you explicitly give me your permission. Any feedback you give me I may use in public communications, but I won’t do so in such a way that people would know it was from you – unless we get your permission. I may share information about you with other organisations who help me deliver services to you but this will always be under the same conditions as I am bound by under this privacy policy. I may share information about you with law enforcement agencies or other organisations or individuals if we are obliged to by law. We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
Use of anonymised data
The information about you I use to demonstrate the impact and reach of my work to funders is anonymised. We will not share anything which identifies you personally. I use third party providers, Google Analytics and Wix, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns, for example, what you look at or access, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, information about your computer, including – where your browser provides this – your IP address, operating system and browser type. This information is anonymised, and we will make no attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. I use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver my e-newsletters. Through MailChimp I gather statistics around email opening and clicks which are not personally identifiable.
Marketing
I would like to send you information about my work, future shows and events. I will only do this if you explicitly give me permission to do this. For example, we won’t add you to our mailing list if you just give feedback or contact us via email. You have the right to opt out at any time from me contacting you for marketing purposes. If you no longer want to be contacted for marketing purposes send me an email or click ‘unsubscribe’ within the email we have sent you.
Storage and retention
I will only store your information in services within the EEA, or in services signed up to the EU-US Privacy Shield. I will keep your information for as long as is required for me to provide you with the service you have requested from me. Where your information is no longer required, we will ensure it is disposed of in a secure manner.
